Swans

Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly waiting a little nervously backstage to present awards at the Oscars, 1956.

I meant to post this at Oscar time but got sidetracked. I have to say I was not particularly enamoured with any of the red carpet offerings this year.  Next stop, The Cannes Film Festival, it's usually more relaxed, so lets hope we see a bit more self styling.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

  2. Didn't they look beautiful!

I wasn't too impressed with the red carpet this year either. And they have so much choice!

The turban you're having made sounds amazing. Do let me know how you get on. It's so hard to find a good quality one.

    Have a brilliant weekend xx

  3. Such class, poise and elegance.
You're right, I far prefer the relaxed elegance of Cannes than the overt formality of the Oscars. xxx

  4. See, now that's what I think red carpet glamour should look like. I was mystified as to why Jennifer Whatshername turned up in a Baywatch swimming costume with a skirt attached this year.

  7. They really are like a couple of graceful swans in these pix. Hopefully without their feet paddling like buggery-bollocks beneath the water though :-)

    Thanks Dash!

Hope you have a lovely weekend ;-)
